Put your trust in Jesus

by saying the Sinners's Prayer

Jesus, I come before You and acknowledge that I'm a sinner.

I repent. I call upon your name, and I ask You to cleanse me with your blood. Forgive me of my sins.

I invite You into my heart, Jesus Christ. I believe that You were born of a virgin, died, and were resurrected on the third day, that I might have eternal life. I open my life to You, and I ask You to come in and be my Lord and Saviour.

Thank You for saving me.

In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen.

Next step: read the Bible+ other cool books (suggested in the next section)

The Bible

Yes, you're reading correctly. The Bible is a must, no matter what version of translation you choose: King James Bible, ESV, or The Septuagint.

The Bible is the Word of God, written between

1230 BC and 96 AD (the Old Testament (written before Christ) and the New Testament (written after Christ)), containing an abundance of knowledge, wisdom, and revelations.

Most people take one year to read it entirely, but don't feel discouraged if you take longer.

The goal is not to read it fast, but to actually understand the words and the teachings at a spiritual level.

Also, I encourage you do your own research
(ask questions online, offline, talk to friends, family, colleagues, pastors, priests, other believers). But, most importantly, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
